Some selected menu options are shown below with video guides.

Using the dedicated graph key

When running in TCI infusion mode pressing the graph key will swap the display from a numerical view to a graphical view.

Within this graphical view, the effect-site concentration evolution is shown as the shaded area, with the plasma concentration evolution as the continuous line and the predicted plasma concentration as the dotted line.

If required the "C" key can also be used to enter the graphical view and switch back to numerical view while a TCI infusion is running.

Setting a wake up concentration

The wake up concentration is the estimated concentration at which the patient will wake up.

The Agilia SP TIVA automatically calculates the wake up duration based on the current effect-site concentration.

Changing the pressure limit

If other pumps are used at the same time it is recommended that their pressure limits be adjusted to the same level.

The lower the occlusion pressure limit setting, the shorter the occlusion detection time.  However, when infusing viscous or thick fluids, the occlusion pressure threshold setting may need to be increased to reduce false alarms.

To minimise the amount of time it takes the pump to recognise an occlusion and generate an alarm while infusing at low rates (e.g. less than 5 mL per hour, and especially flow rates less than 0.5 mL per hour) consider your occlusion pressure threshold setting and adjust it as necessary.

Changing the patient's weight after it has been programmed

If you have set up a TCI infusion in advance of the patient arriving and have estimated their weight then find you need to change the weight entered then the below video guide will show you how.
